Fall 21 | ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge Initiative

Civic Nation is seeking an intern for Fall 2021 for its ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge initiative. The intern will provide administrative, data, and campus support. Additionally, the intern will support the work connected to the athletic and state-level sub-challenges and efforts to institutionalize full student voter participation on ALL IN campuses. Overall, this is an exciting position for someone passionate about closing existing gaps in voting based on age and race and is a detail-oriented team player. 

ABOUT THE ALL IN CHALLENGE
An initiative of Civic Nation, the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) supports and recognizes colleges and universities across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, working to improve civic learning, political engagement, and student voter participation. ALL IN recruits and encourages higher education institutions to help students form habits of active and informed democratic participation and institutionalize democratic engagement activities and programs—making them a defining feature of campus life. ALL IN especially strives to close existing gaps in voting based on age and race, as college students are generally younger and more racially diverse
than the broader electorate.

YOUR COMPETENCIES 
Successful candidates will have:
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Google docs, and Google Sheets

COMPENSATION & EXPECTED HOURS
This is a part-time, three-month-long commitment, and interns are expected to work up to 20-hours each week. Interns will be compensated at the rate of $15.20 per hour.
