Position Description:
Interns will be assigned a variety of duties that will help them gain knowledge and experience needed to work in South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks. Duties will include, but are not limited to; learning the Point of Sale system and being able to trouble shoot problems for other employees, customer service skills, basic building and grounds maintenance, organizational and leadersip skills and educating visitors to park rules and enforce them as needed and assisting in planning and implementing spring educational programming and events.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be a full-time student at a college, university or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the applicant should have at least a sophomore standing or currently be enrolled at a technical institute and have completed one year (nine months).
Preference will be given to South Dakota residents and students of South Dakota institutions.
