Supervising Office Assistant II

The Monterey County Department of Social Services is seeking applicants to join its team as a Supervising Office Assistant II. Under general direction, the Supervising Office Assistant II plans, organizes, and directs the work of a large group of clerical staff engaged in difficult or unusual clerical work; and performs other related duties as assigned.
 
The Supervising Office Assistant II requires one (1) year of full-time experience performing full first-line supervisory clerical duties in an office environment. Positions at this level supervise and coordinate a very large clerical staff performing difficult and responsible clerical functions or several clerical units performing a variety of non-routine clerical duties.
