Urban Forestry & Landscape Manager
Under the direction of an employee of a higher classification, performs highly responsible professional work interfacing with the public on technical matters involving landscape architecture, arboriculture and horticulture. Work involves coordinating the City-Parish beautification and litter-control programs and initiatives; directing the East Baton Rouge Historic Marker program; working closely with utility companies and developers granting line clearing and landscaping permits; regularly assisting the East Baton Rouge Tree Commission and the Mayor-President's Beautification Commission; and working in cooperation with other City-Parish departments and outside agencies. Work is performed independently and reviewed through reports and results obtained. Performs other work as requested.
