NAIC Paradigm Changers Undergraduate & Graduate Summer Internship for Women

For over fifty years the National Association of Investment Companies
(NAIC) has advocated on behalf of diverse alternative investment firms by
increasing access to institutional capital, providing market education and
addressing industry challenges. NAIC is currently comprised of 115 member firms
representing over $185 billion in assets under management (AUM). For additional

Through a partnership with the American Investment Council (AIC) and The
Robert Toigo Foundation, the NAIC Paradigm Changers Undergraduate &
Graduate Internship Program is designed to offer internships for diverse
undergraduate and graduate women with the potential to lead in the field
of alternative investments. Through internship opportunities, education, and
career development programming, the program will prepare women from
various academic disciplines including business, law, healthcare, technology,
mathematics and engineering, among others, for careers in private equity.
Applications for the Undergraduate and Graduate Internship Programs will be
open from January 25, 2021 through March 8, 2021, with the inaugural cohort
kicking off and being matched with an NAIC or AIC member firm for their
summer internship beginning in June 2021. As a partner working closely with NAIC, the Raben group is assisting with placement of interns.

Assessment Criteria/Requirements
  • Aspiring leader with demonstrated experience managing competing priorities
  • Curiosity in exploring an area of investment, with a focus on understanding capital allocation, market trends, and private transactions
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Passionate about being a part of increased diversity and inclusion in a professional role
  • Present strong potential for data and analysis, research, and spreadsheet skills.
