School Psychologist Eligibility Pool

EFINITION: Conducts psychological assessments, diagnoses of learning handicaps and identification of students' handicapping conditions and recommends remediation procedures and program placements for children with special educational needs. Plans and implements in-service training programs for teachers, counselors, parents, administrators, and classified staffs. Plans and implements behavior management and parent education programs; manages counseling programs and provides individual and group counseling services to the larger school community including crisis intervention.
