Associate Financial Analyst

Summary: 
Responsible for assisting and supporting the needs of the HR Functional Area, including day to day activities related to financial reporting, financial planning and analyses, budgeting and forecasting and implementation of financial concepts and processes. Also responsible for responding to ad hoc requests and daily interactions with the HR and broader finance functional areas. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains financial reports, summary ledgers, and layouts
  • Performs journal entries and reconciliations for functional area accounts
  • Provides information and reports to business partners as needed to drive the business and make sound financial business decisions
  • Detects, troubleshoots, and resolves system issues affecting financial reporting and system performance
  • Tracks and analyzes functional area invoices and vendor payment data
  • Creates and maintains process documentation
  • Perform month-end, period close, quarter close, and year-end close and all daily tasks that go into accomplishing those functions
  • Supports continuous improvement through automation, system configuration, upgrades, and integration
  • Cross-train with another member of the team on critical report processes 
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1 Year of Experience or recent graduate with experience
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills
