  •  The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to promote increased student achievement, to provide a safe learning environment, to foster positive school – community relationships, to maintain high visibility and active involvement in those relationships. Candidates must have the ability and commitment to foster team collaboration and differentiated instruction, to demonstrate instructional leadership, to integrate technology into the teaching-learning process, and have a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all students. Candidates must hold NH Principal certification or eligibility with a minimum of five years successful experience in teaching at the elementary school level and extensive knowledge of an elementary curriculum. 

  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The assistant principal assists the principal with responsibility for implementing and managing the policies, standards, requirements and procedures of the district and the state of New Hampshire. The assistant principal works collaboratively with all members of the school staff to establish safe, positive environments conducive to learning, and communicates effectively with parents and members of the community. Supervision of instruction; staff evaluation; discipline; parent contact; curriculum; and other job related duties delegated by the principal.
