We are now seeking a commission clerk to assist with administering the commission program for our team of 20 sellers. At the direction of our CFO, the commission clerk will assist with preliminary calculation of commission for signed deals, upload commission into QuickBooks Online, and assist with monthly commission ‘close-out’ calculations for payroll. The commission clerk may also assist with other bookkeeping and accounting duties as required.
You should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 18-months of work experience either in the finance department of a company or at an accounting firm. You should be familiar with QuickBooks Online (including classes and territories) and Excel/Google Sheets (including pivot tables). Prior experience administering commission is a plus, but not required.
The position is remote for now. However, starting in mid-2021 we expect it will shift to in-office at our location in midtown Manhattan.
Compensation: $40,000 per annum. RTM’s benefits include paid vacation, earned paid-time-off, medical and dental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
