The City of Delray Beach will be hosting Delray Shadow Day 2020 Event on Thursday December 17, 2020. Time of the event: 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Shadow day allows students to observe full-time professionals on-the-job and experience a typical workday or workweek. Job shadowing is a form of experiential learning where students can “try on” various work environments within their projected career fields and can gain information helpful to career decisions like choosing a major, occupation, or industry.

This event will introduce students to our organization and its commitment to serving our community. Our goal is to introduce college students and recent graduates to career opportunities and fields within a municipality / City of Delray Beach. Through observation and conversation, participating students have the opportunity to learn more about professions, receive career-related advice, and reflect on the ways in which their education can prepare them for life after they graduate and a potential career with the City of Delray Beach.
