Office Manager

Direct Supervisor: Program Director & Director 
The Office Manager is a member of the Micah Administration and responsibilities include:        
Pre-camp/staff week:
  • Prepare necessary information for cabins (bunk lists, schedules, emergency procedures)
  • Prepare and stock all office mailbox supplies (trip forms, maintenance forms, salary advance forms, etc.
  • Organize health forms for campers and staff
  • Create schedule for office staff members, including hours and breaks
  • Update phone lists
General Responsibilities:
  • General clerical responsibilities such as answering telephone calls, mailing, and faxing
  • Coordinating and supervising phone calls between campers and parents
  • Coordinate with programming team to help prepare for banquet, visiting day, inventories, end of session take-home envelopes
  • Supervise and evaluate the office staff
  • Inventory of supplies
  • Ensure functionality of office equipment (copy machine and printers)
  • Oversee accuracy of daily Out of Camp Google Sheet
  • Coordinate with Program Director to ensure back closet is stocked (create ordering/shopping list)
  • General upkeep of the office
  • Other requests from the camp administration
General Administrative Team Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and security of campers, staff and facility at all times (risk assessment)
  • Be an appropriate role model for other staff and campers. Lead by example.
  • Inform director of any camper and staff problems
  • Pitch in where needed
  • Attend appropriate administrative meetings
  • Night responsibilities including office coverage and Super OD

Previous Clerical Experience Required
