Large Animal Hospital Veterinary Surgery Technician

The UF Large Animal Hospital was built in 1994 to provide advanced diagnostics and veterinary care to horses, cattle, alpacas, llamas, goats, pigs, and other large farm or food animals. We are seeking a veterinary technician to be part of our surgery staff.

As a member of our surgery staff, you will assists clinicians and students with anesthetic inductions, surgical prep, and surgical procedures by independently setting up surgical suites and equipment including specialized diagnostic equipment. Duties will include patient handling and monitoring, providing supportive therapy and treatments, assisting with emergency procedures and maintaining a sanitary and functionally well-organized service within the Large Animal Hospital.
