About August Jackson: August Jackson is a leading brand engagement agency. Our work for corporate brands, nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions includes branding, communications campaigns and multi-channel activation, with an emphasis on live and virtual events. 
About the Position: Interns will be integrated into our teams and projects, and work across our creative, production and account disciplines. The intent is to give the intern an experience that allows them to understand how each discipline contributes to a team effort. It's an opportunity for personal and professional development and to experience how AJ puts purpose into practice first-hand. 
What You Can Expect: Interns are given daily responsibilities ranging from supporting internal initiatives and organizational functions, to working with AJ teams on strategic, creative and production-focused projects. Client-facing situations will also provide real-world exposure.
The Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is at the beginning of their career journey and has an interest in communications, production, events and/or creative direction. They should be proactive and eager to work and learn in a collaborative environment. We're looking for someone who exhibits strong writing capabilities, can multi-task across assignments, demonstrates organizational skills and has a keen attention to detail.
Additional Details: The internship will be 10-12 weeks in duration this fall. It's a paid position and will be facilitated virtually, so candidates may be located anywhere within the U.S.
