Valencia College is now hiring a Software Developer Analyst to join Valencia College Enterprise Application Services Team, responsible for the development, maintenance, and on-going support of the College's core enterprise application systems and other custom and third-party applications.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- Software Development knowledge in on or more of the following (preferred):
- JavaScript (JQuery, JSON, AJAX, CSS, HTML5), XML.
- SQL and PL/SQL programming in an Oracle environment: stored objects (procedures, packages, functions and database triggers).
- PHP, Perl, ColdFusion, or other web application programming languages.
- Restful APIs and other web services.
- Knowledge or applied skills in the following areas (preferred):
- Ellucian Banner Extensibility tools, Groovy & Grails, Hibernate, Spring, and/or JAVA, XML
- Database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle APEX and web development tools and frameworks.
- Source control systems such as git and svn and web server application administration and configuration
- HTML and CSS
- Experience implementing project management and change management methodologies (preferred)
- A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
