Program Coordinator at Brentwood - #5465

POSITION:               PROGRAM COORDINATOR
LOCATION:                Nashua Program; Brentwood
REPORTS TO:       Director, Special Education
WORK YEAR:       199 days NASAS collective bargaining agreement, benefits and competitive salary
STARTING:          July 1 2020
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Nashua School District is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Brentwood Programl. The program at Brentwood is an alternative self-contained high school program for identified students with significant social/emotional/behavioral challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be certified or eligible for Special Education Administration certification and have a background/certification in School Psychology or special education, preferably with EBD certification. The successful candidate will have several years of experience in working with students identified as emotional or behaviorally challenging. Candidates should have an understanding of High School curriculum and be CPI trained.   
Candidates must have excellent communication, verbal, written, interpersonal and leadership skills. Also the ability to easily and effectively interface with parents, students, teachers, school administration and Community agencies, such as the Court, DCYF and mental health facilities
