This supervisory position manages the complaint mediation activities of the state’s consumer protection program. This position serves as a technical expert on consumer protection laws, working with the public, organizations and regulated industries to provide mediation, education and basic-level enforcement of state and federal consumer protection laws. Responsibilities of this position include: supervision of the consumer protection mediation investigators, coordination of educational presentations, maintenance of the Bureau of Consumer Protection complaint and compliance tracking database, and development of written informational materials in cooperation with the Bureau’s Information and Education Unit.
