 STARTING:         08/21/2020
 SALARY:          $40,884-$82,254
 QUALIFICATIONS:    Teaching applicants must be NH certified or eligible as a School Counselor
                                         
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
School Counselors plans and implements a developmental guidance and counseling program relative to the student population being served. Provides guidance, counseling, coordination, consultation and referrals for services. School Counselors assist students with academic, emotional, social or behavioral problems, encouraging maximum growth and development; teach conflict resolution skills and aid students in acquiring an understanding and respect for individual freedoms and rights of self and others and an understanding of consequences for actions. This position collaborates with parents/guardians, teachers, support staff, administration and any local agencies which might be of assistance to the students. Provide career education activities for all students, including current, up-to-date career awareness and development materials. Conduct regular classroom sessions and provide individual conferences for students experiencing academic difficulty, interacts positively, professionally.
