Business Analyst Summer Intern

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will focus on improving the success within a business function by analyzing data, discovering and solving real world problems, and building metrics and business cases to improve customer experience. We are focused on your success and want to build future leaders within Amazon. A key component of the role is to identify opportunities with AWS customers and Partners to expand out partner network. To do that you will work with Partner Development Managers and Accounts managers to assess what the potential is for a customer to become an AWS partner. In addition, you will design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. You will also be expected to help build collaboration solutions via Wiki's and help us assess which tools we want to consider to to manage large virtual teams. Lastly, you will enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. Internship roles are available nationwide in Amazon’s corporate offices and fulfillment centers.
Basic Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of the 12-week internship
  • Interest in cloud enablement
  • Basic IT skills including wiki design and excel.
  • Research and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Majoring in Business, Economics, Marketing or other business related field
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of Tableau/SFDC
  • Intermediate (e.g. Vlookup) to advanced Excel skills (e.g. write/edit VBA)
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of SQL (all join types, group by, order by, calculated columns).
