Advisor
College of Education
The advisor will work closely with advisors in the College, and through the guidance of the Assistant Director and the Director of Academic Advising/ Certification Officer, will support students in the College of Education towards achieving their academic and professional goals. An advisor in the College of Education works closely with faculty across campus, so the advisor must possess strong competence in interpersonal skills. The advisor uses critical thinking to analyze problems daily, possesses excellent communication skills, and models professionalism. This position includes a broad spectrum of responsibilities that affect enrollment, retention and program completion by undergraduate candidates in the College of Education.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in education or student affairs/student services or related field
