Laboratory Technician
Modis Engineering is currently recruiting for an Analytical Laboratory Technician job in Chicago Heights, IL. To be considered for this position you must have technical knowledge to run routine and some non-routine samples with minimal supervision
The Analytical Laboratory Technician is responsible for accuracy and compliance of all results generated. Recognize abnormal results, takes corrective analytical/technical action.
Responsibilities for Analytical Laboratory Technician job include but are not limited to the following
Use technical knowledge to run routine and some non-routine samples with minimal supervision.
Maintain and complete accurate records.
Perform wet and dry chemistry analysis following SOP requirements.
Handles penicillin and sulfa.
Associates are responsible for accuracy and compliance of all results generated.
Recognize abnormal results, takes corrective analytical/technical action.
Prepares findings for review by supervision. Operates centrifuges, balances, chromatograph
Minimum requirements and Educational Requirements
Record results in a standardized format.
Some GMP training provided at start.
MUST have HPLC knowledge
Entry level BS or BA in related scientific field.
1-2 years of lab experience.
