Laboratory Technician
Modis is seeking a Lab Technician in Lincoln, NE for a 1-year contract.
This person will be accountable for activities associated with the cleaning validation program for the Pharmaceutical and Biological operational areas in support of site project initiatives as well as routine aspects of the Cleaning Validation program.
Primary responsibilities include: collection of samples from manufacturing equipment, execution of analytical testing on cleaning validation test samples and adherence to testing schedules, documentation of results obtained, verification of data entries, drafting validation protocols and reports and escalating awareness when risk has been identified.
Responsibilities:
- Uses technical knowledge to analyze raw materials and pharmaceutical products with minimal supervision.
- Maintain and complete accurate records.
- Perform wet and dry chemistry analysis following SOP requirements.
- Colleagues are responsible for accuracy and compliance of all results generated. Recognize abnormal results, takes corrective analytical/technical action.
- Prepares findings for review by supervision.
- Operates balances, pH meter and HPLC.
- Record results in a standardized format.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years labratory experiance of BS/BA degree/certificate in related scientific field
• Ability to perform wet chemistry testing including HPLC, AA, TOC and UV/Vis
• Verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
