Tax Auditor Supervisor

The Tennessee Department of Revenue is currently seeking to fill its opening for a Tax Auditor Supervisor Special in its Houston, Texas location. This position will be responsible for supervising professional-level Audit Division employees within the Houston, Texas office. Ideal candidates will possess education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree including eighteen semester (twenty-seven quarter) hours in accounting and four years of experience in professional-level accounting or auditing. One year of the above experience must be in professional-level auditing or the supervision of employees engaged in professional-level accounting. Substitutions may be made for the required education and experience. To review these substitutions please visit:
 

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively lead and direct employees as assigned. In addition, the applicant should have practical analytical skills to develop, review, and improve processes. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize information and prioritize multiple tasks.

This Tax Auditor Supervisor Special, located in Houston, Texas will be responsible for professional auditing work of considerable difficulty and supervising a region of tax auditors involved in examining and auditing tax documents of out-of-state corporations doing business in Tennessee.
