National Accounts Associate Sales Specialist (Part-Time)

National Accounts Associate Sales Specialist

Part-Time Shift(s): Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm 

OVERVIEW: 
Working as Part-Time National Accounts Associate Sales Specialist, you will assist the National Accounts Team in developing and managing a corporate Book of Business with large multi-site National Account customers and prospects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 
o Supporting the assigned "Book of Business" 
o Assisting with Contract Management, including: price file management, customer specific cost savings programs, and developing and managing cost savings and continuous improvement projects to meet contractual and customer cost savings goals 
o Marketing and selling Fastenal Automated Supply Technology Solutions to new and existing National Account customers 
o Making formal presentations to senior level management 

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: 
o 18 years of age or over 
o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements 
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market 
o Excellent written and oral communication skills 
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite 
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities 
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills 
o Possess strong math aptitude and attention to detail 
o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented 
o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment 
o Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time 
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork 
o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75 lbs 
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY) 

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
o Knowledge of Material Management Programs, Cost Savings Documentation and Programs 
o Prior experience and success in "Key Account" sales.
