Mechanical Design Engineer
This will be a heavy Solidworks designing position responsible for production of part drawings for mechanical assemblies of street sweepers. They will be responsible for going out on the floor and getting hands on to check the dimensions of parts and their conformance to the drawing standards. They will need to be able to do measuring to make sure designs are up to specifications as well as see if there are any problems occurring from their designs while in the manufacturing process. They will primarily be producing drawings for mechanical parts that will be made of sheet metal. Mechanical parts include but are not limited to bearings, races, cylinders, part casings, and basic body parts.
5 years experience with Soildworks design
5 years experience with bill of materials
5 years experience in manufacturing environment
Hands on abilities - worked in machining, manufacturing,welding
Hydraulics, Working on heavy industrial equipment, mobile hydraulics, experience working with sweepers,sewers, firetrucks
