Clinical Trials Representative
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a safety net for billing of patient charges involving clinical trials and research programs. Within the framework of ECU Physicians practice management system, this involves setting up a company account for each clinical trial (i.e. Study Accounts), linking study patients with their associated study accounts, screening all incoming charges on the linked patients, properly processing the charge, monitoring 3rd party claims filing and adjudication. This requires daily coordination with clinical trial data managers, nurse coordinators, the various cooperative study groups, and other in-house groups across the school as necessary for all open trials as well as recently closed trials.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
