Private Capital Markets Analyst – Bethesda, MD
Stifel is looking for an Analyst to join its Private Capital Markets (PCM) team. PCM acts as an intermediary between investment banking, research, and sales & trading. These investment bankers provide our clients with unique capital raising product and structuring expertise. The PCM team is responsible for the origination, structuring, timing, marketing, pricing, and overall execution of equity/equity-linked offerings for private clients.
Junior professionals at Stifel work on multiple projects simultaneously, with primary responsibilities for the research and analysis related to transaction generation and execution. Position Description: Full-Time Analyst Program

Once on-board, Analysts participate in a formal training program in New York consisting of an intensive one-week accounting course, followed by technical training including financial modeling and valuation. This analyst position is located in our Bethesda, Maryland office.
Specific responsibilities may include supporting deal teams on all parts of origination, execution, collaborating with equity sales to gather investor feedback on live transactions, conducting research on institutional investors, tracking equity financing activity and key metrics, drafting client presentation materials, and completing pricing analyses.
Analyst candidates should possess outstanding academic records and have demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, athletics and cultural and entrepreneurial activities.
