Virtual Internship: Country Planner (Study Abroad)

The Master Planning Office is looking for study abroad students who wish to create a Country report for where they live or cities they plan to visit. Students wishing to apply should be living overseas, be interested in real estate, urban planning, international affairs, photography, graphics.

This will be a great internship for students who are looking for a relaxed internship while studying abroad. This will be similar to creating a blog about your study aboard location, but more defined for Department of State uses. The Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) directs the worldwide overseas building program for the Department of State. This internship will have the intern focus on a specific neighborhoods in their study abroad or overseas location, and will be detailed oriented to urban planning, city development, transportation, major routes for demonstrations, city culture, and on site perspective. They will develop a report that showcases the perfect location for a new US consulate or showcase where the US should have an increase presence.
