Information Security Analyst Intern

Job Duties:               

·    Gather information on security of internal systems

·    Assist with contract routing and analysis of vendor security posture

·    Monitor network logs and detect threats

·    Learn and review existing security technologies

Required Qualifications:      

·        Degree program(s) / Current Status: Senior level undergraduate student, graduate

student, or recently graduated with Computer Science and Cybersecurity

concentrations

·         Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred; 2.8 minimum cumulative GPA.

·         Relevant Experience:  Experience working with security technologies helpful, but

not necessary

Other Qualifications:

·        Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and

PowerPoint).

·        Knowledge of security frameworks is a plus.

·        Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.

·        Must demonstrate the ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.

·        Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment and team-oriented.

·         Undergraduates must be able to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the Spring

and Fall semesters and 30 – 40 hours per week during the summer. Recent

graduates must be able to work 30 – 40 hours per week year round.

·        Must be able to commute to/ provide your own housing in Baton Rouge, LA.
