Hope Faith Grant Specialist AmeriCorps VISTA
The Grant Specialist VISTA will support the mission of Hope Faith by building and increasing the capacity and effectiveness of programs and resources working to break the cycle of homelessness in Kansas City through researching and securing funding sources, grants; both private and government. Work closely with the Development, Finance, Program, and Operation leadership teams to pursue and achieve the fundraising goals of Hope Faith’s operating and development strategic plans. Hope Faith is the only daytime homeless assistance campus in Kansas City, Missouri. Providing direct services to individuals, Monday-Saturday, who are experiencing homelessness, or are at-risk individuals, families, or youth. The campus provides for immediate needs such as food, showers, clothing, laundry service, case management, and other essential services. Hope Faith provides office space and operational support for on-site partners that provide medical, dental, vision, and mental health services as well as additional case management resources. HOPE FAITH's continuous collaboration with external partners and service providers to offer the best possible solutions to empower individuals and break the cycles of homelessness and poverty.
