Contracts & Compliance Administrator

Cobham is seeking a Contracts & Compliance Administrator who will support the Contracts & Compliance (C & C) Department by providing general administrative support to facilitate efficient departmental functions in the core areas for Contract Review, Bid and Proposal support, International Trade Compliance, Corporate Governance, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), and Intermediary (FCPA) compliance. This position is located in Orchard Park, NY.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, update and maintain various software databases and user profiles for software tools utilized by the company
  • Populate NDA drafts, negotiate NDA terms with external parties, maintain NDA database files, track and communicate pending expiries
  • Research and report on related topics assigned
  • Support compliance reviews and approvals of third party agents and resellers
  • Assist in the management of Intermediaries for the Business Unit
  • Prepare general correspondence and revision control of red-lined and final documents
  • Support the review and data logging of technical data transfers to external parties
  • Track and support departmental key performance indictor data
  • Facilitate and track training activities
  • Maintain import/export records in accordance with U.S. trade regulations
  • Prepare import/export documents in support of shipments
  • Organize, maintain, and/or purge files, documents and/or storage systems

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree with a business emphasis, or other degree plus 24 semester hours of business related courses from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 1-year of experience of general business or contract-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience utilizing software tools such as MS Excel and Word
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
