Administrative Support Associate-Advanced

Duties include supervising office staff; administering grants (including budgeting and effort reporting); preparing hiring paperwork for EHRA and SHRA vacancies; maintaining personnel files; purchasing equipment and supplies; assisting unit administrator in management of department budget; overseeing foundation account budgets (including research awards, scholarships, and program accounts); preparing travel permissions and processing reimbursements; assisting the unit administrator in scheduling course offerings for fall, spring and both summer semesters; planning department events including graduation receptions, History Day, lectures, and recruitment events; serving as liaison for the department to other units on campus; maintaining records and files of the department; operating office machines; and assisting faculty and students.
