Technical Sales Trainee
Stepan Company is seeking enthusiastic individuals looking to build a career in marketing and sales with an education in chemistry, chemical engineering or related science background, and marketing, business administration or finance.
This is an entry-level sales commercial position. We are seeking new college grads who want to jump right in to a Sales and Marketing Rotational Trainee role!
Trainees focus on specific markets and business solutions, and must have strong ability to make sound decisions and recommendations. They are expected to understand and communicate business and customer requirements at multiple interfaces, must be able to coordinate efforts internally to deliver answers that enable internal and external customers to achieve their goals. As a Trainee for Stepan you will work with business models, analyze markets, forecast sales, in order to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships, and involvement in industry organizations and associations.
Individuals chosen will be provided with an extensive training program customized to their experience level.
* You must be willing to relocate to Chicago for this 1 yr. intensive sales and marketing rotational trainee program.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a science field Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communications along with strong interpersonal skills are required.
