Project Manager I

Utility Construction Services (UCS) is a utility contractor that specials in transmission powerline construction. We work all across the United States but most of our projects are in the Southeast/Midwest. We are looking for an entry level project manager to work in the field. Daily task would be that of any typical construction company, for example, scheduling, budgeting, forecasts, production tracking, working closing with our superintendents to solve issues, working closing with our clients to make sure we are providing a professional service for them, etc.

 

At UCS, safety is 1st and most important. After that is quality, we want to make sure we are providing the client with top quality work. Lastly, cost effective, as a contractor our goal is to make as much money as we can, however, that is not at the expense of safety or quality.

 

This position would require the project manager to travel to wherever the project was located and work in the field with the crews. It would be a salary position that comes with a company truck. We would also pay for hotels and meals.
