Adjunct, Part-time – 21-23 hours per week

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Clinical Counselors employed in the Office of Mental Health Services provide vital mental health services to residential and commuter students. Clinical Counselors are responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, brief treatment, consultation, crisis intervention, and referral of students in the support of academic success and retention in accordance with the College’s mission and values. The Office of Mental Health Services emphasizes mental health outreach and interventions with students who identify from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups, including but not limited to first generation students, students of color, non-traditional age students, students with disabilities, and international students. Adjunct Clinical Counselors will provide short-term therapy/counseling services to meet specific student client needs including mental health assessments and therapy sessions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related degree required. Desired experience: clinical counseling, working with diverse students in a multicultural setting, and experience working with post-secondary students.

 

EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE

$26.00 - $27.57 per hour. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
