Accounting & Fiscal Administration Career Trainee (Upward Mobility Target Title)

Under immediate supervision of the Accounting and Cash Management Unit Manager/Certified Public Accountant (CPA), participates in an Agency sponsored training program of six to twelve months, receiving accounting work assignments designed to develop knowledge, understanding, and practical skills consonant. Receives training to perform professional accounting functions in the Accounting and Cash Management Unit. Receives training to organize and maintain the Contract Administration's Cost Recovery System; receives training to develop and update a spreadsheet tracking expenditures in the Cost Recovery System, and to prepare fiscal based monthly and quarterly status reports of Cost Recovery files.

Education and Experience: Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or an allied field. This class is included as an Upward Mobility Program credential title.
