We are seeking a Records Program Associate - Advanced to provide records program management support for the Division of Food and Recreational Safety. This position is located at 2811 Agriculture Drive in Madison, WI.

This paraprofessional position serves as the lead for the Division Records Management program. The incumbent is responsible for managing the records and record retrieval system, for administering the records management program and for training division staff on records and forms management. The essential functions of the position are to coordinate, develop, implement, and maintain a manual and an automated central file system, including continual development of electronic files accessible online. This position also serves as primary administrative support to the Bureau of Food and Recreational Businesses and performs a wide variety of administrative assignments involving multiple programs, performs policy and support functions, and participates in the assessment of administrative efficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications (Required - Candidates must have experience and/or education relevant to these areas in order to be considered for the position):
1.) Forms Coordination (e.g. creating, updating, maintaining official forms and/or documents for a large Division/Organization; forms development/design; forms distribution and instruction; etc.)
2.) Records Management (e.g. retention, retrieval, and disposal of records; inventory systems; electronic records management systems; document control; etc.)

A well qualified candidate will also have experience and/or training in the following areas:
1). Open Records (e.g. assisting with requests; assigning, collecting, and accounting for documents; researching and reviewing laws and statutes related to requests; etc.)
2). Licensing (e.g. utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, AMANDA, Health Space or other comparable licensing databases to enter and track data, generating/writing reports, etc.)
3). Experience utilizing Microsoft Word (to perform tasks such as drafting correspondence and formal/legal documents, combining documents, password-protection, etc.) or a comparable program
