Staff Accountant

The responsibilities of the position is to compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize the company’s current and projected financial position. Prepares monthly bank reconciliation and records any adjustments to the general ledger. Also, responsible for maintaining all fixed asset activity.

Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Candidate must also be experienced in all GL functions, balance sheet & income statement preparation, tracking of fixed assets, and project costing. Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, especially with MS Excel is required. Oracle experience is a plus.
